I have been making birth videos for almost ten years and have loved every minute of it. I believe that birth is sacred, and being invited into that space to witness a baby take her first breath, to watch him open his eyes for the first time, to see that utter shock and joy on dad’s face. It just never gets old! But more than anything, I love seeing

That’s what stood out to me when I filmed my first birth. It was so special I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life documenting it. Midwives, doulas, nurses, grandmothers, sisters; they all come together and support, encourage, and equip another woman to BECOME a mother herself.
Just when the mom reaches her absolute limit and cries, “I can’t do this!” the team of women supporting her cry back “you CAN do this. You ARE doing it.” Then she digs deep, finds the strength she needs to continue, and brings LIFE into the world.
And when this mom gets the opportunity to go back and watch this moment herself, it’s priceless.
